New Hampshire U-Pick country is the Merrimack Valley and the White Mountains foothills. Strawberries peak late June through early July; blueberries follow July; apples anchor September–October at orchards across the state. Apple Hill Farm in Concord, Carter Hill Orchard, and Butternut Farm in Farmington are signature destinations. Plan around the Sandwich Fair (early October) and the various Apple Harvest weekends in the Lakes Region. Best visited weekday mornings during fall foliage. Pair with the White Mountains, the Mount Washington Cog Railway, or the Lakes Region (Squam, Winnipesaukee).
